How to photograph a subject with blurry background.
Hello

One of my reader asked me how to do a photo with a blurry background. In photography the exact term for this kind of photo is bokeh. If we take a look at this photo its kind amazing right. This photo have focused look for that specific object and gave some sensation of a story behind this photo.
Okay so let’s jump to the simple tricks that we can do to get the results.(note that these tutorial just for DSLR user)

1.      Use a wide aperture (f-stop)
If you are having a lens with aperture at f1.8 so you might have no problem to get this done. What you have to do is just lowering the f-stop on your camera to the minimum stop. Use the focus ring to focus one subject in the frame and then you can just click your shutter. Note that if you are shooting in a sunny day, the photo might be overexposed. To overcome this you can just simply increase your shutter speed and lowering down ISO. Try for several time until you get the best photo.

2.      Use a telephoto lens

This trick is commonly used by me since I do not own any lens with super low f-stop. The bokeh look can be done by having your subject a curtain distance from your camera. Then you just have to zooming to the subject and focus for certain part like the face. Click the shutter then boom!! you now have a bokeh look.

So for a smart phone user you can also get this bokeh look but the result may vary depending on what your smart phone specs. So for quick tutorial, after you open your camera apps, what you have to do is just put your subject in medium distance from your phone. Then you point your finger to the part that you want to focus. Your phone camera will automatically focus to the part. After that, capture the subject. The bokeh photo will appear before your eyes.

So I think that;s wrap up for this entry

Until Next Time
