Just a short update today. I just want to share some of the terms and the use in photography and videography.
Aperture(f-stop)- control depth of field.
How much you want to focus or defocus.
Shutter speed- control how fast or slow the shutter to capture a picture
ISO- control how much light you want the camera take
Bokeh- focus for one subject only or certain part while the other part are blurry
Rule of third- this rule applies when you position your subject for about 2/3 of the frame
Frame rate(fps)-control how much frame use for one second when shooting video
High Dynamic Range(HDR)- A Photo captured are from merging of 2 different photo with different settings
Backlight- This happens when you're shooting with harsh light especially sun behind your subject
Telephoto lens- Usually lens with 200mm or more.
Prime lens- lens with fixed scale
Wide angle lens- Lens that can capture wider angle of view.
Steadycam- Gear for stabilize camera movement.
Slider- Gear for sliding camera to get nice pan and zoom look.
I think that's for the time being. I may update it later on. Please note that I'm not a professional in this field. Some of the terms may not properly explained.
